Every game, a new front door

· 2 min read

All our games now open on the same new lobby, each with its own scene, and they fit every phone, tablet and computer. Plus new boards for Sweeper, Mine Sniffer and Solitaire, and new Card Clash trophies.

Every Blibzz game now opens on the same lobby: the game's title, your player card with your level and XP, the choices for this game as big, easy cards, and one gold Play button right where your thumb is. Learn it once and you know your way round every game.

Each game has its own scene behind it: a crystal mine full of treasure for Mines, a night sky with a rocket on its way for Crash, a game-show stage for Plinko, a sunny meadow for Sweeper, a path of floating islands for Mine Sniffer, a cosy card room for Higher or Lower and a fireside study for Solitaire. The choices have new pictures too, from Crash's rocket on its way to the moon to Blib in a blindfold for Mine Sniffer's Blind Walk.

Games that used to drop you straight in now have a lobby as well: pick your machine in Lucky 7, your stake in Lantern Deep, your deal in Solitaire and your chip in DVD before you play. Card Clash and Blibzz Slots look the same as the rest, and the Vegas tables fill a tablet held upright properly instead of sitting small in the middle.

Everything fits your screen. From small phones to big monitors, and phones held sideways, nothing is cut off and nothing needs scrolling.

New boards. Sweeper is now played on a meadow of grass squares that you dig into dirt, a little different on every board. Mine Sniffer's path is now a trail of floating rock islands that gently bob in the air. Solitaire has a real card table: Blibzz felt inside a walnut-and-gold rail.

Card Clash gets six trophies (Clash Champion, Flawless, Never Fold, Wild Card, Giant Slayer and Rivals) and its own daily and weekly challenges, and so does Pool. Wins in both now count for the "win rounds of anything" challenges and for High Earner.

A few fixes too: a poker table no longer waits out the whole clock when a player drops out on their turn, and Settings → Fewer animations now calms every celebration, from the coin burst to the wheel and card packs.

As always, tell us what you think with Feedback on any page. We read every message.
