Free games to play with friends online: no download, just send a link

· 3 min read

Poker night, a pool match or a Minesweeper race, from any phone or laptop. Which Blibzz games you can play together, how to set one up in under a minute, and which to pick for what kind of evening.

Most "play with friends" games fall at the first hurdle: someone has to download something, someone else is on the wrong phone, and by the time everyone's ready the moment's gone. Every Blibzz game runs in the browser, so the only thing your friends need is the link you send them.

Here's what you can play together, how long a game takes, and what it's good for.

The quick list

How to start a game (it's the same everywhere)

  1. Open the game and choose Play with Friends.
  2. Pick your settings (table, stakes, bots or entry fee) and create the table or match.
  3. Send the six-letter code, or copy the link and paste it into WhatsApp, Messages, Discord or wherever your friends are.
  4. Friends tap the link and land straight in your table. At the table games you press Play when everyone's in.
Your table waits for you. Going off to WhatsApp to send the link doesn't close it: come back, refresh, even sign out and in again, and you're straight back at your table. Only Close Table ends it.

Head to head: Card Clash and Pool

Card Clash is the fastest way to play one friend. You each hold four cards from one shared deck, pick one in five seconds, and both flip together; three rounds of five clashes and it's over. Choose Revealed if you both like to think, or Blind if one of you plays far more than the other: with every card face down, it's pure luck.

A Card Clash match: four cards in hand (Ace of hearts, Joker, 9 of clubs, King of diamonds) and the Lock In Card button
Card Clash: four cards, five seconds, one winner.

Blibzz Pool is the one for bragging rights. Real ball physics means real pool skills work: draw back for position, bank shots, combinations. Play 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or 8-Ball Pro with its 20-second shot clock. Friendly matches can have no entry fee at all.

The table games: poker, blackjack, roulette and craps

A friends' poker table seats up to nine. You set the blinds, the buy-in and the time to act, and bots fill the empty seats until people arrive, so two of you can still have a full table. Friends who join take a bot's seat.

Blackjack is the co-operative choice: everyone at the table plays against the same dealer, so you're cheering each other on rather than taking each other's chips. Roulette and craps are the social ones: everyone bets on the same spin or roll, and there's always something to react to.

For puzzle people: Sweeper races

Blibzz Sweeper races give you and a friend exactly the same Minesweeper board at the same moment. First to clear it wins; dig up a mine and you're out. Every race board can be solved without guessing, so it really is about who reads the numbers faster.

A few things worth knowing

  • Everyone plays with free play coins. There's nothing to pay, and nothing anyone wins can be cashed out.
  • On phones, Pool and the 3D table games play sideways, full screen.
  • If someone's connection drops mid-game, they get a short grace period to come back and pick up exactly where they were.
