Social Casino

What is a social casino? How Blibzz works, and what it isn't

A social casino is a place to play casino-style games such as slots, roulette, blackjack and poker for fun, with play coins instead of money. The games, the tables and the rules are the same as you'd find in a casino. What's missing is the money: you never deposit anything to play, and you can never win anything you could cash out.

That's the key difference from online gambling. On a gambling site you stake real money and can win real money. On Blibzz, every coin is play money. Coins have no cash value: they can't be withdrawn, sold, swapped for gift cards or exchanged for prizes of any kind, and neither can XP, chests, avatars or Blib cards. Coins never pass from one player to another, so they can't be traded for money behind the scenes either.

Where do coins come from? Every new player gets a starting balance, and more comes free every day: the daily bonus, the Fortune Wheel, the free coin packs in the Shop, chests from levelling up and weekly events. If you ever run low, Happy Hour Relief tops you up. You never need to pay to keep playing.

How does Blibzz pay for itself? Some pages show ads from Google, clearly marked "Advertisement" and kept away from the games themselves. That's what keeps the games free.

Why is it 18+ if no money is involved? Casino games are still casino games, and we think they're for adults. Every game page shows its rules and, where it applies, its return to player, and the Fortune Wheel, chests and card packs show the real odds of every prize. Our Gambling awareness page lists free, confidential support if gaming ever stops being fun for you or someone you know.

One last, important point: doing well in a social casino doesn't mean you'd do well at real-money gambling. The odds on Blibzz are set to be fair and are shown openly, but no strategy beats the house edge over time, here or anywhere else. Play for the fun of the game.
