Roulette odds calculator: what every bet pays, and what it really costs
· 1 min read
Choose any roulette bet on the European or American wheel to see its payout, chance and house edge, then play 2,000 simulated sessions to see why betting systems like the Martingale never beat the wheel.
A roulette layout offers dozens of bets, but each one comes down to three numbers: what it pays, how often it wins and how much of every bet the wheel keeps over time. Pick a bet and a wheel to see all three, then run a few thousand sessions to see how a balance really moves.

Pick a roulette bet and a wheel to see what it pays, how often it wins, the house edge and what a stake is expected to return over many spins, then simulate a session of spins to see how a balance really moves.
The number that matters: the house edge
On the European wheel (one green 0) almost every bet returns 97.30 coins for every 100 staked over the long run: a 2.70% edge. On the American wheel (0 and 00) it's 94.74, a 5.26% edge. A single number and red or black lose at exactly the same rate; they just get there differently. The only bet that's worse is the American top line (0, 00, 1, 2, 3), at 7.89%.
Why systems feel like they work
Switch the simulator to the Martingale: double your bet after every loss, go back to the start after a win. Most sessions finish slightly up, because a win usually comes before things get out of hand. But every so often a long losing streak hits the table limit or empties the balance, and that one session wipes out many small wins. The average result stays below zero, because every coin you stake still faces the same edge. No pattern of bets changes the odds of the next spin.
Pick the European wheel
It's the one choice that really changes your long-run return: it nearly halves the edge. On Blibzz you choose the wheel in the Roulette lobby, and every spin is decided by the server before the ball starts rolling. For every bet's payout in one table, see roulette bets explained.
All of this is about play coins: Blibzz has no real-money bets and no cash prizes.
