How to play Blibzz Lotto
Blibzz Lotto is a draw three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 21:00 Cyprus time. You pick five numbers from 1 to 30 and a Bolt ball from 1 to 10, and a 3D machine draws the winning numbers live. Match all five and the Bolt ball to win the jackpot, which starts at 1,000,000 coins and grows every draw nobody wins it.
Your ticket
Five numbers and one Bolt ball make one column, and a column costs 100 coins. Tap your numbers on the slip, or press Quick pick for a random five and a Bolt ball.
You can pick more than five numbers or more than one Bolt ball. The ticket then plays every column those picks make, at 100 coins each, and the slip shows the count and the price as you tap.
- 6 numbers and 1 Bolt ball: 6 columns, 600 coins
- 7 numbers and 1 Bolt ball: 21 columns, 2,100 coins
- 7 numbers and 2 Bolt balls: 42 columns, 4,200 coins
- 8 numbers and 1 Bolt ball: 56 columns, 5,600 coins
Buying tickets
Press Add to basket to keep a ticket and start another; you can buy up to 20 tickets in one go. You can also buy the same tickets for the next 1, 2, 3, 6 or 9 draws at once.
Sales close at 20:55 Cyprus time on the day of a draw. Tickets bought after that go into the next draw. The coins come out of your balance straight away, and your tickets are listed under You have … tickets on the draws page.
Prizes
Every column is checked on its own, so a ticket with several columns can win more than one prize. All prizes except the jackpot are fixed. The two smallest give back part of what the column cost; from 3 numbers up, a prize is more than the column cost:
- 5 numbers + Bolt ball: the jackpot (1 in 1,425,060)
- 5 numbers: 250,000 (1 in 158,340)
- 4 numbers + Bolt ball: 100,000 (1 in 11,400)
- 4 numbers: 10,000 (1 in 1,267)
- 3 numbers + Bolt ball: 4,500 (1 in 475)
- 3 numbers: 500 (1 in 53)
- 2 numbers + Bolt ball: 30 (1 in 62)
- 1 number + Bolt ball: 10 (1 in 23)
The jackpot
Each draw is played for the jackpot shown when it opens. If nobody wins it, 45% of the coins that draw's tickets cost is added to the next draw's jackpot, up to 75,000,000. After someone wins, the next jackpot starts again at 1,000,000.
If more than one column hits 5 numbers and the Bolt ball, they share the jackpot equally.
Watching the draw
Each draw has its own page, which opens on the day. At 21:00 the machine mixes the balls and draws five numbers, then the Bolt ball from the second drum, while a caller reads each one out and your tickets light up as they hit. It takes about a minute and a half.
Prizes go into your balance automatically once the draw is over; you don't need to be watching. Every past draw stays on the draws page with its numbers, and you can watch it again.
The numbers come from a secret seed made before any ticket is sold. Its fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) is published in advance and the seed itself is shown after the draw, so anyone can check the result wasn't changed. Open Check the draw on the results to see both.
Tips
- Every combination has the same chance. A Quick pick is as likely to win as numbers you choose yourself.
- Extra numbers get expensive quickly: 10 numbers and 1 Bolt ball is 252 columns, 25,200 coins. Watch the price on the slip.
- Lots of players pick birthdays and patterns. If the jackpot comes up on popular numbers, it's shared by more winners.
- Buying for several draws keeps your numbers in play while you're away. Prizes are paid even if you don't watch.
- Tap Prizes on the Lotto page any time to see the full prize table and this draw's jackpot.
