How to play Crash

In Crash, Blib rides a rocket and the multiplier climbs from 1.00× until it blows up. Cash out before it does and you win your bet times the multiplier; wait too long and the bet is lost. Rounds run back to back, and four to nine Blibzz regulars, bots marked as such, bet alongside you.

A round, step by step

Bets are open for 4.7 seconds before each launch, and you can cancel yours until the rocket revs up for take-off. A bet placed while a rocket is flying waits for the next round, and you can cancel it until then.

Once the rocket takes off the multiplier climbs, faster and faster: 2× after about 7 seconds, 10× after about 23 and 100× after about 46. The highest it can go is 10,000×.

Press Cash out at any moment to take your bet times the multiplier. If the rocket blows up first, the bet is lost. A few seconds later the next round opens for bets.

Auto cash-out

Switch on Auto cash out and set a multiplier from 1.01× up, or tap a preset: 1.5×, 2×, 5× or 10×. The server pays you the moment the rocket reaches it, even if your connection is slow. Under the field the game shows what that target wins and roughly how often it pays.

The auto cash-out is sent with your bet, so it can't be changed while that bet is down. You can still cash out earlier by hand. Turn it off to cash out by hand only.

The odds

Each round's crash point is drawn by the Blibzz server when you bet. The chance the rocket gets past a multiplier is 97% divided by that multiplier plus 0.01, so every target returns just under 97% over time: 96.52% at 2×, almost exactly 97% for big ones. About 4 rounds in 100 blow up at 1.00×, before they get going.

  • Cash out at 1.5×: pays about 64% of the time
  • At 2×: about 48%
  • At 5×: about 19%
  • At 10×: about 9.7%, roughly 1 round in 10
  • At 100×: about 1 round in 103

Sealed before take-off

When you bet, the server draws the crash point and a random secret, and sends a SHA-256 fingerprint of both before the rocket leaves. When the round is over it shows the crash point and the secret, and the game checks they match the fingerprint. Menu › Fairness shows the check.

The bots are there for company. Their bets never reach the server and don't change your odds. Rounds you only watch, with no bet on them, play out in the game for show.

Using the controls

In the lobby, choose an auto cash-out (Off, 1.5×, 2×, 5×, 10× or any multiplier you type) and your bet, then tap Play.

Set your bet with − and +, ½ and 2×, or type an amount from 1 coin up to everything you have (at most 1,000,000,000). The big button changes with the round: Bet, Bet next round, Cancel bet or Cash out. Space presses it.

Auto (or the A key) bets every round with the same bet and auto cash-out until you stop it or run out of coins. Leave mid-round and your bet comes back if the rocket hasn't taken off; once it's flying, you're cashed out at that moment.

Tips

  • Decide your cash-out before launch. The middle of a climb is a bad time to make decisions.
  • A 1.5× target wins about two rounds in three; a 10× target about one in ten. Both return almost the same over time.
  • There's no pattern in crash points. A run of early crashes says nothing about the next round.
  • Auto bets every round, so decide how many coins you'll play with before you switch it on.
  • Over time the game keeps about 3 coins of every 100 bet, whatever you aim for.
